Ross Regular Decision Notice

Did you all just get an email from them? It’s slightly confusing…

yeah they said decisions by june 19th lol

That reads to me like a BS excuse for “we need a few more days”

…who’s the genius who would “transition” the b school to gmail during decision time?

I can’t tell if the instructions to wolverine access are saying decisions may be given sporadically over the weekend, or if a hard deadline on Tuesday gives adcom the weekend with the intent of finishing Monday…

Also, if we all got the email just now, doesn’t that prove everything’s fine?? That’s a bit like emailing your high school English teacher saying you couldn’t finish the paper because your computer was broken… I doubt they’re done. Late Monday or early Tuesday I believe ugh

Well I am sure we will all be checking WAccess all weekend. If someone gets a notice let’s post here so we can all go even more crazy!!!

So, do you guys get the impression that this was our notification email, and we won’t get one when our decisions are actually ready?

Wow Sam that’s depressing! I hadn’t thought of that so now I’ll be checking WA all weekend.

It reads like one with the instructions of logging into WAccess. And the email is subjected as “BBA Admission Decision” like last year…

this e-mail was such a freaking tease. “BBA Decision” was the subject. ■■■■ admission guys you suck!

when you click application status in the Perspective Student Center, for FA 2012 does everyone have “Undergraduate Business Admin” and “Business Admin UG Degree”, and underneath that it says “Available links will vary based on application”??? Just wanna check that this is normal

Been staring at that for 15 days now :'(

Yep, mine says the same thing. I assume that once the decisions are out that is the page we go to to see if we got in. I’ll be checking all weekend just in case! Good luck all and GO BLUE!!

Why check all weekend when the admissions office isn’t even open during that time? Some people are way too anxious.

Pretty positive they’re in there working hard this weekend trying to finish this up. And the email said no later than Tuesday at noon, we don’t know if it’s then or sooner

Considering I attend this institution, I am pretty positive they are not diligently working on a Saturday or Sunday.

There actually is a problem with their mailing system. A friend of mine did not receive the email I had to forward it to him. Ross does not lie! And I am sure they work hard, do you think it is easy to fo through 1500 applications, 3000 essays etc… when your team is composed of maybe 5 to 10 people?
Good luck everyone!

Wait so do you actually know that 1500 people applied? That would be a huge increase over the 1100 last year. Also, I feel like its kinda late for them to be still making decisions.I doubt they would still be deciding on people the day before decisions come out. Maybe the delay is with their system, and they just have to upload everything?

I would think that they completed all decisions, and now it’s just a matter of setting everything up for the new students. They probably didn’t want to give decisions out before they were ready to efficiently process them-- they probably still have to set up student accounts, so it makes sense to wait until everything is updated with Google.

If there actually is an issue with notification then I can’t really complain. It sucks to wait but it would suck more if they botched the email system.

I doubt there were 1500 apps but 1100-1200 is probably in the ballpark.

1500 was just a guess. I don’t know this year everybody I met was like “I am applying to Ross”. It is probably more than 1100 but less than 1500.
