Ross Rejection and RC questions

I’ve already been admitted and plan on going, but I had a few questions:

I’m really interested in studying business and would love to go to Ross. However, I know that Ross has ~36% acceptance rate, which worries me. If I don’t get into Ross, is there any other type of business program or would I have to choose a totally different major altogether?

I’m kind of interested in the Residential College and was given the option to join, but I don’t really know much about it. What are the benefits? Would it help me get into Ross? And would it be a wiser decision to double major than join the RC “liberal arts” program?

Thanks so much!

The only Business program availlable at Michigan is Ross. If you don't get into Ross, you can always major in Economics. The Economics department at Michigan is ranked around #10 nationally and is actually very undergraduate friendly.

Being part of the Residential College does not make one special or improve one's chances of getting into Ross. The Residential College is an academic community within the university. Generally speaking, it is a LACish element within the larger institution...nothing more and nothing less.

what is the residential college?

im sorry, im an international who has no idea what that , or sororities or greek life means :P

Do you know what google means?

slaps head , where can i find google ? lol
