i hav couple more questions... id appreciate it if anyone could answer them...
1. how competitive is it(Ross undergrad)
2. i found out that the decisions are made in rolling basis juz like the college. If u hypothetically submitted ure application in september, when would u receive ure decision (aproximately)??

What do you mean how competitive is Ross? Do you mean to get in? It is hard to say in high school terms since until now, high school students could not apply to Ross. But I'd say Ross students are academically strong. The top 25% of Michigan students graduate from high school with 4.0 unweighed GPAs, top 1% class rankings and SAT scores over 1400. Those are the students who usually have a serious shot at Ross.

Or do you mean how competitive is Ross among Business schools. As an undergraduate program, Ross is one of the top 4 or 5 programs in the nation.

As for your second question, nobody knows. I'd say if you apply by September and are a top student, you'll probably get into the college of LSA by late October or early November. Your file would then find its way to Ross and it could take anywhere from 4 weeks to a couple of months to hear back from Ross. So the whole process would take anywhere from 3-6 months. In short, if you apply in September, you could hear back as early as December or as late as March. But once you are admitted into the college of LSA, you are safe, even if you don't get into Ross. That's because you can reapply to Ross at the end of your Freshman year at Michigan.

Alexandre, do you think it is remotely possible to get a dual degree or double major of some sort between ross and the engineering school?

It is possible to double major in Business and Engineering, but it would take at least 5 years, possibly 6 years.

It's better to do engin as undergrad, then MBA in grad school and u'll still get done in 6 years.
