Ross will have first year admissions next year??

I have a question to help my bro next year, will Ross (undergrad business school) admit students as freshman like Stern, Wharton, and others. If so, does that mean admissions for this program will be fierce, and how fierce are we talking??

very fierce

dont go to ROSS if ur caliber is not there yet. if that's the case, even if u can get in ROSS, ur rank would be at the bottom and no company is gonna want you. same thing w/ wharton, who the heck is gonna want someone ranked at the bottom. it sounds unfair, but it's life.

I think they're only going to admit 75 freshmen into the program -- so you can bet it's going to be very competitive. It's a pilot program for now.

No Freshman will enter the program as freshman.

Here's the deal:

Ross is going to move towards a 3-year program, where students start at Ross AFTER their freshman year. Most students will apply during their freshman year, and won't know until then whether or not they'll get in. However, the Ross school is going to extend admissions offers to a select group of high school seniors who are applying as Freshmen. It's like they're getting a promise of admission to Ross one year early. They'll still be in LSA as freshmen, but unlike other students they won't have to apply again to Ross. As long as they don't blow it gradewise, they will transfer in to Ross after that first year.

Hoedown got everything right. I spent my whole morning looking into this program becasue I thought I missed out on it when I applied. However, the program, or the pilot anyway, starts for freshman entering in the Fall of 2006.
