I'm a high school senior, but I'm pretty sure i wanna major in business at Ross. Can I minor in something like chemistry as well?

You can minor in anything you want, as long as it isn’t the same as/very similar to your major. Business and chemistry don’t really go along with each other but if you are really interested in it, feel free to minor in it.

is there a limit on majors and minors, could i do a Ross major with 2 minors for example?

also, what would a more suitable minor be? economics comes to mind, but not sure if that is allowed given your previous comment.

You can do multiple minors; I am likely getting minors in math and econ while in Ross. Get a minor in whatever you’re interested in and enjoy, don’t worry about what’s “suitable.” Having a quantitative minor may look nice, but there’s no point pursuing it if you don’t actually enjoy the subject.

I would not recommend getting two minors if you’re in Ross. There are a ton of very interesting Ross electives, and if you’re taking enough LSA classes to get two minors you’re probably missing out on a lot of what Ross has to offer. The electives will be much more applicable to your future career path than a chem minor and they don’t add much to job prospects. Even one minor isn’t really necessary and most people don’t do it. Two seems like an overkill.

Well, I was thinking of one minor not related and one related like economics.

but i can figure it all out later anyway.

^What most people don’t understand going in is there is essentially zero overlap between a BBA and an Econ major. It’s not the same subject and the subject matter really isn’t all that related. This becomes very apparent when you actually start going through the ross classes, but it’s nothing like the Econ department. You really don’t need two minors.
