Ross?

...recently...

anyone now?

i don't think i'm that worried for pre-admit anymore ever since i got into nyu stern...but it'd still be nice and would be the make or break decision for me.

^ I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I was really counting on the Ross pre-admit, but then I got accepted to Stern and I'm still waiting on Wharton. But I still do have an interest in Michigan...but I sent my application in way back in November and Ross still hasn't sent anything, so I'm not sure.

Stern is a good option as well...I would go there...but my parents dont want me too. (NYC is a great place to be for business)

umich would be a CLEAR number one if i get ross pre-admit. otherwise its a toss up. on one hand nyu is amazing, location and everything, plus i hear stern pampers u like no other. but then again, i'll have a stead job @ umich working in public relations straight out of high school and my home is only 30 minutes away. plus, $20,000 vs like $45.000+.

I was at the Ross info session part of campus day earlier today and we were told that decisions would be out by april 1st. He also said that there were over 1000 applicants for ~70 but possibly more spots, so they well probably admit in the low 100s to ensure that.

Thanks nyjeff06! At least some confirmation there.

Deviating a little, has your status as a Preferred Admit been indicated anywhere , on the Wolverine Access Site or anywhere else?

not on my wolverine page.

great, I should know where I am going to college in about a week. Let the anticipation begin!!! Well not really, it's been going for many months now.

I talked to a lady in admission. She pulled up my info page and said they likely wont have a decision on my application until mid april! I applied back in January, why's it take so long to make a decision? I am only going to visit the campus if I get accepted to choose between that, Notre Dame, and William and Mary, but with a May 1 deadline, I'm left with little room...

still nothing...

Mid April doesn't sound good. Hopefully she was just giving a generous estimate.

mid april is awful!!!

dunno why im concerned - if they were 100 admittees and and international % of 2 (last semsester) tthts like only 2 internationals admitted nd theres no chance im on of them:S!

but mid april! pah

I know that you were told mid april but I spoke to some one who is integral to the admissions process and he told me that it would be april 1st. Keep that in mind people...

I talked to admission again today, but being the total klutz I am I totally forgot what they said about when I should expect to hear back. The only thing I do remember is that I was definitively told that they are still holding spots for our applications so we "will not be held to higher standards than the rest of the applicant pool." As much as I'd like to believe it Im not totally sure about that tho... Time will tell

this is just getting annoying now. do we formally get rejected if we aren't accepted to the program?

REJECTED!!!!

okay. i just got an email saying I got rejected. so you guys will be receiving a formal decision too i suppose..

Rejected too, lol. But i'm happy cause Mich just gave me full fin aid OOS. I'll try for Ross again next yr.

Rejected!!!
