I just submitted my app last week. Is anyone applying to this program from CC? Do any of you know how selective this program is going to be and how they base their admissions? Past attendees please feel free to jump in.

bumppppppp. come on, someone here must have applied.

bumppppppppppp.

OK, I attended in summer, 1973. Yep, it was awhile ago. I still have fond memories. I had a great experience. I am sure things are different now, but good luck to you.

Hi Folks:

Anyone hear from the Roswell folks yet?

Trish

is the deadline past? lol…

hey ccer,
i attended last year. it was a pretty good program, especially since i had an excellent research advisor, but some of the other kids weren’t as lucky. as for selectivity, it’s pretty selective. it’s something like a 16% acceptance rate. however, it’s much much harder to get in if you don’t live in buffalo than if you do live in buffalo. also, they take a wide variety of kids, so they don’t just pick the top 25 with the highest gpa and sat scores.

Hey guys,
Has anyone received any type of information from RPCI? i.e. application confirmation, acceptance letters etc.
If so, please let me know ASAP
Roswell states that accepted applicants are notified mid-march…
(im getting a bit antsy)
Thanks!

I have yet to get a response as well…Hopefully they’re just a little late.

I know this is a little late, I was accepted and they sent the letter March 15th. I am very excited and looking forward to the research experience. Has anyone participated in research at Roswell in the past and would have good advice about the program? Also, does anyone know about the Canisius College housing? I am an “out-of-towner.” Is it a dorm or a townhouse, which building would it likely be and are the rooms singles/doubles/triples, etc? And the website mentioned residence hall activities during the summer. Are the activities designed for us Roswell undergrad researchers or is it just general fun summer stuff (not that GFSS is bad Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge.
