<p>Just as a point of advice for you guys, if you are getting impatient, DO NOT EMAIL KISAILUS saying you have a deadline for something else. It got me a prompt rejection letter. As long as you can afford to wait, do it. They’ll send out their decisions when they’re ready, and they won’t make exceptions for students who need an expedited decision. </p>

I emailed Dr. Kisailus the other day, trying to find out if there was a date they were aiming to having them out by, so I hope that doesn’t become a factor in my decision! I’m sad to hear about the denial!</p>
<p>It’s rough waiting, especially because there’s a lot of pressure to do something important this summer. It’s nice to know I’m not alone is this waiting without updates process. </p>

<p>It shall all be over soon (hopefully). However, talking about grades probably won’t help ease our minds. Schools grade differently, and although a factor, it’s probably not the largest one. Best of luck!</p>
<p>@flutecello I wouldn’t worry about having asked if there is a date they will send by. I specifically asked for an expedited decision by April 22, which they clearly weren’t ready to render. </p>

<p>@ovcafighter97 I highly doubt we’ll hear anything over the weekend. What I think might be the case is that they are waiting to find lab placements for those who they didn’t send rejections to yet.</p>
<p>It would be so nice to get into this program, except all my friends think I’m wasting away my summer if I choose to participate.</p>
<p>Yeah I really would like to get in as well. Let them speak for themselves. If you are a person who loves research and would like to spend all summer working in the lab then it seems like the program for you.</p>
<p>I have not received an email either. Nerves propelled to the max. And word… you’re not your friends and they aren’t you. You could even say they are wasting their summer away not applying to this program!</p>
<p>Also about that GPA thing, I think what you provided doesn’t really factor into the acceptance equation much - if I recall correctly, we had to provide our transcripts, so that will probably clear up the inconsistent grading systems that all high schools have between each other.</p>
<p>In past years, someone has said that they send out things alphabetically, so I’m guessing they sent out some rejections (hopefully all), so @intowishin, would you maybe mind telling us what letter your last name begins with (or is this bad and not allowed…?)
