Rotary Youth Exchange Program, is it a difference ?

<p>Hey everybody,</p>

<p>I will be applying next year to american colleges. I am an international student, currently enrolled in an exchange year thanks to the rotary youth exchange program.
I was wondering if the program helps you get into colleges like Columbia?
I have good academics, strong ecs, severals internships at major newspapers, mun, student council, wrote a year for a lifestyle magazine (online), worked, travelled a lot etc..volunteering hours

hooks : dual citizenship, parents never graduated from high school, 1st generation of immigrant.</p>
