Rotating a point through a given angle on Math II Subject tests

In my Kaplan Mathematics Level 2 book, there is a practice test with the question:

If point P(3, 2) is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise with respect to the origin, what will be its new coordinates?

I’ve rarely seen this kind of question on other practice tests, and so I want to know if this is a topic worth studying for Math II Subject test.

Why do you consider this a hard question?

This is relatively straightforward coordinate plane/geometry. Certainly a core topic you should know/study.
