I’m going to be applying for the ROTC scholarship, I’m an incoming senior.
I like the Air Force in general, it seems like a very good branch to join.
However, I want to be a Navy SEAL so obviously being in the ROTC Navy might be an easier route but I’m not too knowledgable on the Navy itself
Though I don’t really know which branch is better so anyone experienced please tell me!
If you join the Air Force you cannot be a Navy SEAL. The AFROTC and NROTC scholarships are completely different applications, interviews, and selection boards. The rules and application steps are different for each type of scholarship. Navy awards 4-year scholarships to all winners. Air Force can be a Type 1, Type 2, or Type 7, each with different requirements and payments. What do you want to do in the military? That will tell you which branch that you need to focus on for the application. You can apply to both and Army ROTC as well but they are all separate.
