Can anyone describe the ROTC program at WFU?

How large is it?
How cliquey is it?
Do you know the admission stats of any cadets? (i.e., does my son have a chance?)
Have you heard of any cadets regretting it?
What about the professor of military science (PMS)? Is he someone the cadets like and admire?
What about the social life of cadets? Do they have time for frats, if they want? Intramurals? Clubs?

I'd appreciate any info. Thanks. :)

I have several high school friends that have done ROTC at Wake (I came from a military town, so many of their parents were military). I don’t think it’s a huge program - five cadets were commissioned at graduation this year. There is definitely time to have a social life; two of my friends were in frats/sororities.

I know you’ve probably looked here, but: <a href=“Army ROTC | U.S. Army”>Army ROTC | U.S. Army;

Thanks, juba. Yes, we’ve seen that website; it’s one of the better ones. :)

Everyone I know who does ROTC enjoys it. And yes, you are able to do fraterniities and activities.

My friends in ROTC enjoyed it alot.
