My teacher had us take a career test and it was about 150 questions long and she made us take it twice just so everything is clear.
I got the same results both times I took the test.
The suggestion for my career was to join a branch of the military.
Then in parentheses it said (US Marine Corps or Navy SEALs)
I never even thought of joining the Marines or the Navy in my whole entire life. I think my parents would kill me if I even brought it up. (They want me to be a doctor.)

But now ever since I took the test I am really interested. Why not fight for my country? I did a little research online and I found out about a program called ROTC and I heard that you get a four year scholarship to the college you want to go to and after you are finished with your education you go and join the military. If I am wrong with the information above please correct me!
I want to attend a out of state college: University of Mississippi. Does Ole Miss have the ROTC program? If so, what is it like?
Please give me information about that and if you know anything about the Marines or Navy please tell me!

Btw I am a girl I wont be looked down on will I?

Thank you :)

Well, it’s cool that you are interested, but as an active duty AF officer, I’d highly advise you to do a lot of research before making any decisions.
I had those career tests give me things like electrical engineer, accountant, and lawyer, but I’m lucky enough to be a helicopter pilot! Basically, decide for yourself what you want to do. Those tests are there to give you what other people think you might be good at. Outside perspectives are important, but they aren’t everything.
Only join the military if that’s what YOU want to do. Otherwise, you’ll probably be miserable, and make those around you miserable too. Going ROTC means you’ll be a military officer. That is a big commitment, as the nation will entrust you with people’s lives. Depending on what you like and what kind of person you are, it might be the perfect fit. I certainly love my job.
