Just out of curiosity...if a student has an ROTC scholarship which pays less than full tuition, is that treated like other outside scholarships, reducing the finaid package by the same amount? And is the effect to put you in about the same position for the "net" amount of your aid, except maybe you might have to take less in loans?

You should contact the financial aid office...I have no idea

Well, OK, I'll check online, but we haven't been in touch in a while...I thought there might be some ROTC scholarship students who could share their experience. Suppose, for example, you have an AFROTC Type 2 scholarship which pays only up to 15K per year. Do you lose an equivalent amount from your ND finaid, making it all a wash?

well I dunno about AF but in Army they pay for everything; there is no such thing as a "partial" scholarship. For me, when I got my rotc scholarship, the university took away the my entire scholarship which amounted to about $25000. But I got to keep government grants =D

So the Army pays all your tuition, fees, and an ampount for books, leaving you to pay for R&B with the monthly stipend or however, since you no longer have ND finaid available? I'm impressed they pay full ND tuition.

army is a good deal. Only thing I have to pay is R&B-grants=5000/year
