Even though I am only a junior, the prospect of paying for college is sort of disconcerting. I want to go to a 4-year private and I am willing to be 100k+ in debt (I know it sounds stupid, but I plan to go into engineering/i-banking) I was wondering how much money one can recieve from ROTC and if anyone here has done it, what are the requirements/is it worth it?

There are a number of different ROTC programs. They are very generous, but all require a lengthy military committment after graduation and a small but significant time committment during school. If the idea of serving your country as a military officer after graduation appeals to you, then ROTC is the way to go. But your attitude going in needs to be what can I do for my country, not the other way around. ROTC is a lot more than just a way to get financial aid for your education
