I am also involved in a lot extra curricular activities:
5 years of volleyball,
3 years of softball (I took a break this year b/c i needed to focus on my grades),
3 years of being involved in drama.
1 year in the ecology club.
I am also in the National Honors Society
I have won 2nd place ribbons in an art show,
2nd place award (overall) for my science fair project in 10th grade, I got a blue ribbon in my category.
Missions Trip to Arizona (and I am returning this year)

I was dealing with personal issues that stemmed from previous family problems and a small head injury (v. slight) (,ect.) Junior year as well as trying to balance all of the AP's I took on. I'm not sure how well I did that, but my guidance councilor said that he would put a note in.

I don't know what kind of college I can aim for. I used to dream of going to an ivy (i desperately wanted to go to Harvard) but I realize that the chances of that are much closer to none rather than last year when my grades were better and the chance was closer to slim. I was wondering a) is there any way i still have a shot at an Ivy? (like if I improve Senior Year) and b) what (tier of) colleges seem to be more in my reaching distance?

I think the top ivies might be out of your reach, judging from junior year grades and the PSAT, because junior year is typically regarded as the most important year. However, your resume still looks strong, and I think you’d have a shot at Cornell.

ok thanks
i will keep that in mind… i’m just trying to figure it all out. :D

You need higher test scores if you are thinking ivy
