rough workload / important GPA questions

i hope that my workload next semester isnt too much;

Orgo II with lab
Physics II with lab
Cell & Molec Bio
Genetics II (im taking this grad-level course pass/fail so i can freshen on my genetics)
Physiology
a community service project for 2 credits
working in a lab( around 3-5 hrs a week)

too much for a 2nd semester sophmore? i plan on taking MCATs after sophmore year

i also have another question relating to GPA
i took a summer honors program/session at Boston U. between my junior and senior year of HIGH SCHOOL (not ugrad) and got a B- in Biology II and B in Medical Ethics. The content was extensive and still being a kid who got As in high school through bsing most of my classes, I wasnt expecting the huge workload in the short time span (8 weeks). I regret turning in my BU transcript after realizing that med schools still see those grades even though it does not factor into my ugrad GPA, i go to UMass Amherst on a basically a free ride. is this going to kill/ have an impact on my chances of med school?
I have a 3.78 GPA right now as a 1st semester sophomore, the GPA will rise to around a 3.84 end of sophomore year, and probably peak at 3.86/3.9 end of junior year. was it a bad move turning in the BU transcript? i did get a lot of credits for it and it allowed me take upper level classes. my question is, do medical schools really care for a class i took when i wasnt even in college even though it counts for one of my basic sciences (bio II) and how will this affect my science GPA?

Thanks for the input!

Whether you get credit for it or not from your undergrad school, you would've had to eventually turn in the transcript to AMCAS when you apply to med school. There's no other option.

really? if i never showed the transcript when applying to colleges then i would have taken bio II and med ethics at my school instead.. anyways i cant change what happened, would the adcom see that my science gpa is low due to that one class, or would they let it slide? all my other core classes are full A's (including Orgo) and one B+ in genetics and a B in an honors chemistry class

It doesn't matter if you would have retaken the two classes, the grades from the original two would still count because you would've still had to send in the transcript to AMCAS. Every single college transcript, no matter when you took the college courses and no matter if you got credit for them, must be sent to AMCAS for grade verification.

The medical ethics course isn't a science course so it won't be counted on your science GPA. By the time you apply, you should have at least 5 or 6 science courses so one B- shouldn't kill you.
