I have heard from alot of people that UF rounds the State University System of Florida GPA, is that true because i expect to have a 3.98, i know that UF really cares if you have a 4.0, so do they round?

Yes, that is correct they do round to the nearest tenth. My D had a UF GPA of 3.97, which they rounded to 4.0. It pays to check with them too, to see what they’ve calculated as the UF GPA. I knew D’s should be 4.0 and they came up with 3.9. I sent them our calculation and they indeed had miscalculated or omitted some credits for Algebra and Spanish she earned credit in middle school.

Tzais thank you so much, :):):):):)

Then that’s another question I have for UF Admissions: Do they count HS credits from middle school? I heard they absolutely do not, but you’re saying otherwise. Need to get it from the source.

If the middle school credits and grades are on your high school transcript and are part of your high school GPA, then they should use the credits. But like I said, initially UF didn’t pick them up, so it’s wise to check their GPA calculation to make sure it’s what you calculated.
