So my counselor gave me back my gpa associated with the a-g courses I have taken, its at 96/26=3.692..., I am pretty disappointed sense its so close to a 3.7, would it be okay to self report it as 3.7?

I mean its at 3.692.. and 3.7 only differs by like .007

I worked pretty hard and when you include my non a-g courses, its about 3.76.

bump, please any advice would be appreciated

Most schools show stat with 2 digits after decimal point. To be honest, it is not such a difference between 3.69 and 3.7. In any case, do not round it up to 4. ;)

… and by all means don’t ever round up your unweighted to your weighted just because it’s a handy number. It seems obvious, but I know a few kids who did that and then later claimed that it was because the only gpa that was on the HS transcript was the weighted one. It was true in the case of the transcripts our school does, but it backfired on them. biggg time.

My weighted gpa was around 4, the 3.76 is including non a-g courses
