My S got into Rowan and the offer came with about 1/3 the cost yearly in Merit. Its looks very affordable.

I'm still looking into Rowan and we will visit next week.

I would love to hear some opinions or experiences RE: Rowan University and or its Engineering PGM.

thanks

I think you will be impressed with the new engineering building and the opportunities they are providing there for engineering students. I think their chemical engineering program is now ranked 3rd in the country, if you are interested in rankings…

Considering Rowan University. How available are internships for Rowan Engineering students? With Rowan being a smaller lesser known University, is it difficult to obtain an internship?

Who says Rowan is lesser known? It is very well knowm with its Engineering reputation. Rowan has career fairs at least twice a year where recruiters come in. My son is currently a freshman and landed a research internship at VA Tech this summer, although he was recommended by his advisor. If you work hard, you will get opportunities regardless of which school you go to.

Please see my old post, “Why Rowan”. It’s held up. Son grads in May with a CEE degree. Passed the FE/EIT exam.

Rowan Engineering is great. I got an internship my sophomore and junior summers through the job fair held in Feb. Both led to job offers.
