I’m having a really hard time choosing which school to transfer to. I like both rutgers campus and the rowan campus. I want to know more about job placement and which school would be better? I’m going to major in like political science or something similar.
Well, I am currently at Rowan and LOVING it. I have an older brother that went to Rutgers NB and he also loved it. He got a job (computer science) about 3-4 months after graduation and has made lifelong friends in the process. I am currently working toward applying to grad school for entry next year and I am loving all the individualized attention I am getting…my teachers are making appointments with ME to help me out in the application process! My teachers genuinely care about me, but I am also very active in the department and reach out as well. My brother, I’m not too sure, he’s the kind of person that doesn’t worry too much about things…went to class, got decent grades, got a job, he’s content. I don’t think he got much individualized attention and help due to the school’s size but the school has a good reputation for sciences. It’s also a great time to go to Rowan, too, because of all their expansions and positive publicity and new budgets.
Bottom line, I’m a little biased, but I say go for Rowan
