I have been accepted to both recently and I have also been accepted to Monmouth, Hofstra, and Montclair State, but Rowan and Temple are close to home for me and I feel I would be better off at either of these places. I am just stuck on which to choose, I plan to major in television which I know in Temple is called broadcasting and both have very good programs. My biggest concern is which school will give me the best oppurtunity to have a job once I graduate, I also have concern with finicial aid, I am a NJ resident so I know Rowan would be less expensive but I've also heard they're not too friendly with finicial aid. What would your opinion be on these schools. Thank you.

I’d pick temple.

^thank you for the opinion :D

Maybe Temple just because it’s in a bigger city -> get connections with more people? I know nothing about Rowan though. :v

since you are in state for Rowan I would question whether the extra $10,000 or so per year is worth it for Temple.

I’ve heard good things about Rowan, and the students liking it there. Also, it is unlikely that the cost of attendance would be lower at Temple than at Rowan, given the Temple’s higher OOS costs, regardless of how good/bad Rowan’s financial aid is.

Rowan had a better 4-yr graduation rate than Temple, 47% vs 38%. Their 6-yr graduation rates are identical at 67%.

The biggest difference is probably the environment - Temple is urban and Rowan is not. Which do you prefer?
