<p>I'm a high school junior in Canada, and just started rowing this year. I really enjoy it but I've gotten a pretty late start, does anyone (preferably someone who goes to Yale) know what the options are in terms of rowing at Yale? I know there's 2 tiers, but not how competitive they are/where a walk-on might fit in. I row a 7:12 erg which I know is pretty ****ty, but I'm going to be working on improving it over the summer and throughout next year.</p>
<p>If you're speaking about Men's crew, lots of guys haven't rowed before attending Yale who eventually go out for the team. They have recruiting early in the school year.</p>
<p>I also wanted to do rowing but have never done it before, lol. I hope I can make the team to whatever college I land in.</p>
