Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts

Does anyone have any information on RADA. I've looked all over the internet and there seems to be little information on this school in terms of their acting BA program. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

some americans like to call rada the british juilliard but the majority of the world considers juilliard the american rada. by reputation, it is the top acting conservatory in the world and they only take 1 or 2 americans a year. i think they do auditions in new york some time in march.

I know you asked about RADA, but it's not the only good drama school in the UK. Here's a link to the Conference of Drama Schools:

LIPA (Liverpool) and the Royal Scottish Academy actively recruit American students, and participate in the unified auditions in Chicago. I can also recommend Central School and Guildhall. Patsy Rodenburg, one of the best voice teachers in the world, trained at Central and teaches at Guildhall.

Good luck.

PS Notarebel, nice to see you back!
