Who got in and with how much in aid?

with aid, i still have to pay ~32K! …worth it?

maybe, maybe not. Course it depends on your options. Hope that helped you in decision.

How does that help her in her decision?

I received 32,000 in scholarships and grants per year plus 10,000 in financial aid. so i have to pay a total of 15 grand a year to attend rpi

I got in, but since I am an international student, I was not considered in any scholarship/grants. Also my paper work got lost so I had to call them and stuff so I got my decision back just yesterday, so even if there was a grant, I would not have been considered for it I guess.

So to me its 50k a year, I am getting really sick of this nationality thing, hopefully in future(not in my time i guess) there will be no “nation” or “state”, only individuals.

Glad someone picked up on it. It wasn’t meant to help because she didn’t provide much info for which to base a reply. If it’s her only acceptance and her family can afford 32K then yes it’s worth it. But if family can’t afford 32K and she has cheaper options it probably wouldn’t be worth it. If people have a question then communicate a specific question, otherwise they just waste bandwidth.

I got in with only the leadership award, but I just turned in my CSS profile though, so hopefully some more will come my way. I have NROTC on my side though, but it only pays up to a certain amount.

Got In with 25k in free money, meaning it would cost ~32k a year to go if I take no loans. I have a 22k EFC, and no Cal or Pell grants.
