rpi/albany vs tcnj/umdnj

i've been accepted into both of these programs, but right now i'm so confused as to which one i should go to. i'm a nj resident, so tcnj would be wayy cheaper, but then again i dunno if rpi is really worth going to over tcnj. argh, anyone wanna give me some advice? thanks!

IF i were you, i would go to tcnj/umdnj

alot of ppl will tell you to go to rpi because the program is better/more prestigious

... this is how i would look at it if I were you

If im commiting to a program for 7 years, do i want to be closer to home? YES.. advantage tcnj

Is either med skool alot better than the other?... NO... If you work hard, you will get your residency no matter what med skool you come from... it all comes down to your boards.. so the two are even in this category

cost.. advantage tcnj

however, if you are looking for a "social scene"... neither of them really have it...
anyway good luck

agree with every single comment above

i can understand if there was a huge prestige difference between the two medical schools but they are about even

as such, tcnj is going to save you a lot of money, allow you to be closer to home, and provide about the same education as rpi
