I am trying to decide between the 7-year RPI/AMC Physician-Scientist and 8-year Union College/AMC medical programs.

I am leaning towards the Union College program, but I heard that RPI better prepares people for medical school.

Is it hard to maintain the 3.50 GPA at RPI? I understand that RPI is primarily an engineering school, and I heard that its use of grade deflation and somewhat rigorous science/math courses may make maintaining a high GPA difficult.

How are the RPI professors? Are they easibly accessible if we are struggling with the coursework?
