<p>Was wondering what anyone knew about Rensselaer Poly and Rochester IT in NY. They are most likely my alts for UCLA/UCB because UCSD and UCD don't interest me much and I would LOVE to go to a hockey school. I will be majoring in either mech or aero engineering, so what about their engineering programs as well.</p>
<p>List price of RPI is around $52,000 per year; RIT is around $39,000 per year. Check financial aid availability if needed.</p>
<p>Don’t overlook University of Minnesota Twin Cities, which is highly regarded for mechanical and aerospace engineering, and costs about $29,000 per year out of state (though probably not much, if any, financial aid).</p>
