GPA- (low because of freshman year)- 3.23/4

SAT 2s- 800- math 2

EC- Tutored at Mathnaisum of two years, Varsity soccer goalkeeper, JV track and field, Tutor at Kumon, Internship at an IT department at a blood bank, and many other clubs

Please tell me, are my chances good? I did ED 1 btw.

I need help, some please reply

Per the American Society for Engineering Education admits for 2014:

96% in top 25% of class
75% percentile math: 680
75% percentile reading: 618

Hey thanks for the reply, and I’m only top 40% because of my freshman year. what do you think?

It looks like the ASEE picked up the wrong numbers - those shown above are actually RPI’s 25th percentile numbers.

Per RPI’s Common Data Set, the 25th - 75th percentile SAT scores for the Fall of 2014 class were Math 680-770 and for Reading 620-720:

so what would you say my chances are?

No one here could give you an informed opinion - we don’t know what your full appplicaton looks like (entire class schedule, grades in specific classes, letters of recommendation, essays, etc.) and, more importantly, none of us know what RPI is looking for when they evaluate an applicant, in either the regular decision round or the early decision rounds.

Good luck!!

@dadinator but based solely on those stats right there.

@fallenrecon15 well based on the stats, its a reach. RPI weighs GPA and Test Scores heavily

@bloodythunder got in class of 2020!

Congrats!

I hope the financial aid package is sufficient for you to attend.

Congrats. Just curious, are you male or female?
