*** RPI Class of 2022 Thread ***

@Ibu250 i didnt see anything like that but i think its because i only submitted fafsa and not css. did css this morning as soon as i realized. the only thing im unsure about is if scholarship info will also be coming out with the financial aid when it finally comes out. css profile page also said around March 19th i should get my package

@CrazePhil did u submit both fafsa and css? My stuff didnt come out either yet and i think its bc i didnt do css

3.4 unweighted gpa
$19000.00 leadership award
Mechanical Engineering

@FebruarysFinest i hope you’re right! i didnt get any info yet either

I’m also wondering if it could have been filing late. I think I did FAFSA/ CSS either on the deadline or very close…

@Pianomonster20 DS submitted FAFSA and CSS a long time ago and has not heard on Merit.

Ok. I haven’t heard about merit or anything.

S Accepted
1580 SAT
36 ACT 4.0 UW
Nuclear Eng.
Ren. Medal

@artist03 I did do both. But I just checked my css profile to make sure and it said that the 19th will be the likely date for the financial letter

Son got in, so happy, better Scholarship and finically aid then Penn State for sure. Love RPI.

My guess is that they got out the higher ranked acceptances first with the best packages. Keep them pumped up and hitting the “Accept” button. They can also take more time to see if those admits decline and put the merit money back in the pool. I bet that the packages over the next 1-2 weeks will be lighter than what people have posted here so far. It just makes good business sense to prioritize their money.

DD Accepted!

Bio Medical Engineering
$29k/yr leadership award
Stats: 34 ACT, 3rd in class (of 250), 3.95 uw GPA 4.65 w, AP classes, etc.
Still very pricey for us …

If the leadership award ranges how much is the medalist award? Unfortunately it was given out by guidance before we found out about it, my dd got the brown book award  because she was really into going to brown.

Medal is $25k/year.

@tqants That article is a year old.

Anyone see an email or phone number for the financial aid office? Or a list of the people who work there?

Thank you. I thought Medalist got full tuition. We were so bummed when we learned it had already been given out. Good luck to everyone, the school is pricey so even with 32K it would be a stretch.
