RPI! My chances/ED/People's opinions of the school. Please read :)

Hey I'm a senior and I'm going to apply to RPI ED. Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.5 (weighted I think heh... not very good, about a B in honors classes) All honors/AP classes
SAT: 630 CR/790 M/620 W <--- 790 makes me :)
Extracurriculars: sailing all 4 years, photo club 10th and 11th grade
Work Experience: 2 years 10-15 hrs a week-school year, Summer-15 hrs a week teaching sailing
Visited: Twice I have visited, shown interest, gone to open house. I met with the head of the math department (grandfather used to be head there-how much will this affect my chances?)
I think RPI is perfect for me. That's why im going ED. I would like to contact anyone who goes there however, perhaps over AIM.

Opinions/Comments would be appreciated.

Another thing to note: I come from a public school, and I'm white. AND last year 3/3 applicants from my school were admitted with the following stats

-4.4GPA | 1400ish SAT
-4.3GPA | 1350ish SAT
-3.5GPA | 1300ish SAT

Mine would be 3.5GPA 1420 SAT :D

Academically you seem to be fine to be accepted into ED, especially if you've had alot of honors classes. I only got a 1300 on the SAT so..
Showing interest in the school is definitely a plus, and having alumni in the family (especially staff -- have him write a recommendation for ya!!) actually does help alot.

My AIM is seg9585 if you have any other questions (I'm a sophomore aero/meche here at rpi)

Your stats are right in line for you to be accepted:
