RPI or Rose-Hulman, which is better? I have heard a lot from those Rose Hulman guys, but if you do think RPI is better, why?

RPI has a cooler name... Rensselaer... better than the wimpy "rose"... :)

Well, having been to both, RPI's campus is much better.

Also, I think RPI has a stronger overall academic program, whereas Rose-Hulman is mostly only really strong in engineering.

My D was at both and is at Rose. Both are good schools. The reason she descided on Rose was the academics, how friendly the campus was (students, profs, and adm). I'm sure both are great school but she loves Rose.

All the students work together, there is plenty of things to do on campus so if you like engineering...my vote would be Rose. Check their great graduation sucess rate. Few school can beat this. Also read the link below this may help with your decision. Good Luck.
