I can’t provide “insight” into how “blatant” this is - don’t really know what this means.
Colleges blast emails to tens of thousands of students every day. I suppose they try to make it feel “personal”, and maybe I’m jaded from multiple passes through the process and knowing how it works - but they’re not.
