RPI v WPI for Computer Science

and possibly coupled with a math major (double major).
for undergrad

RPI all the way!!

I have heard WPI has a particularly strong comp. science department, but overall, I see RPI as better (larger endowment, more research, probably more financial aid, more opportunities overall, and better rankings).

Apparently WPI does have a nice "small community" atmophere to it, though. And I don't know much about the surrounding area, but its probably better than Troy.

CS/Math is exactly what I'm doing now. I had a similar choice as you and I'm definitely not going to regret picking RPI.
