I received a 15,000/yr. scholarship at RPI (RPI medalist) and a 30,000/yr. scholarship and Honors program at Northeastern (for national merit finalist). I plan to study Computer Engineering. The cost of RPI will still be $50K/yr and at NE $26K. I like both schools when I visited, but I definitely like Boston better than Troy! Any advice?

Northeastern, and I say that as an RPI grad. That’s an awfully big price differential.

Northeastern has the better Computer Engineering program.

Northeastern both for price and quality. NEU’s Honors college + great scholarship should make it a no brainer
Congratulations! :)

Northeastern, and I was impressed with RPI when we visited. The money is too important and too big a differential to ignore. It’s a great school and Boston is a great town for college students. The co-op program is legendary and the 128 Corridor has lots of NU grads.
