RPI vs Northeastern University

Hey everyone, so I enrolled into NEU for this year, but recently was contacted with an update in my financial aid by RPI and they told me if i'd like to reconsider I can. Both schools now cost the same and I don't know which one to pick. I am going to be an engineering major so if you can, please tell me which one you would say is better and why (and try to give good and bad aspects please)

Thank you :),

more specific

so, I know RPI has a really good academic and research depatrment, but it is in not such a great and exciting place for a college, but if i go there I’d end up going to grad school and be prepared for it and stuff since RPI has good research and stuff, while NEU is in a great college location and has the best Co-op program, but has bad research and I’d ultimately end up going into the working force after my undergrad…

So basically, for a college experience which school would be best, and for the working force what would be best? RPI then grad school for engineering then going to the working force with a high level degree, or NEU and their great co-op program?

You can easily do co-op at RPI so I wouldn’t consider that a deciding point. Unless you are such a city person you can’t survive in a quieter environment, I’d choose RPI for its better engineering education that is highly regarded by employers. The undergraduate research opportunities at RPI also are wonderful, something to think about.
