Son admitted to RPI, WPI, Villanova honors, UCONN honors. Any personal feedback/opinion/experience on how they compare (other than published rankings, etc.) for undergrad engineering in general and electrical engineering as a possibility would be much appreciated. Anyone faced/facing somewhat similar choices among them and what was decision?

All 4 of them are excellent engineering schools. ( I could use rankings to convince you to choose RPI, if you don’t want to here anymore rankings). RPI’s top employers for EE is IBM, Cisco Systems, and GE.

At RPI’s career fair other companies like AT&T and other well none companies were there as well. For RPI the average salary is 51-95K. If you want your son to have the greatest opportunies to make the most money after college. I highly reccomend RPI.
