does RSF have TVs/showers anywhere? What sport facilities do they offer for people not on an intramural team or anything? I've never been inside so I don't know what they have. can non-berkeley students use the gym? any info about RSF would be great, thanks :)

Yes, RSF has very large locker rooms with showers. There are TVs located in the cardio area (near the entrance, where the treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, etc. are).

RSF has everything you need for weight training - several different types of machines, benches, squat racks, bars for dips, you name it. There are 3 rooms for weight training on the ground floor.

they have TV’s, with MTV. If i recall correctly, there’s a radio frequency to listen to it.

they were remodeling showers for a short while, but I’m pretty sure you can use them now.

they have an outdoor pool, basketball/volleyball court, racket ball, treadmills, elliptical, and weight rooms.

more info on the times each of the facilities are open can be found here: [UC Berkeley Recreational Sports.](http://www.recsports.berkeley.edu/)

I think it’s kind of hard to watch TV when using the machines. The TV is stationed pretty high up on the wall, so you have to crane your neck up to watch it, if I remember correctly.

I don’t understand why everyone bashes on RSF complaining that it needs to be bigger and stuff. It’s a gym for students mainly and I’d say only a quarter of the students use it. (Go everyday whenever I have time and I just see the same people there)

it seems pretty awesome according to the online description…are other college gyms better or something? what do people want out of a gym anyway? i just want a tv so i dont get insanely bored on the treadmill.
