They spelled my name "Frnak" on both the envelope and the rejection letter. I also applied to a local laboratory with a huge laser. Actually, I think it's a bunch of lasers and the lasers take up an area 100 meters long. I have an interview on Sunday, which means I have a 1/3 chance. It also pays $6 an hour for 40 hours a week.

...hey someone already filled me in! lol.

And wishful_thinker, I know I got rejected because I got my SHARP letter the same time as my RSI letter. I have talked to people on this board and in person and it looks like no one else has gotten rejected yet.... I am hurt that NASA is so willing to turn me away lol....:(

did anyone who was accepted in NJ also apply to gov school of sciences (and isnt going to that?)
im really anxious cuz im first on the waitlist....(gov school that is)
(btw i was rejected from RSI)
think for RSI your field of interest does play a role, cause they need to make sure they have mentors
Also if you mention a field such as simply "physics" or "chemistry" it will make you seem like you didn't put any effort into going into your fields.

well i guess they're looking for different things. but if you can get into RSI then you have NOTHING to be worried about -- it's two acceptances in one! you're going to MIT!!

Eh. It shows that I am one of the lower rickoids because I was sucky enough to get rejected from SHARP lol. Oh well. and Yeah the RSI = MIt thing. I don't know if thats 100% true ALL the time haha.
