UNlucky number 13. Whoever its #13 will not get in.

I'll take it ;) Do you believe in such superstitions?

There are a lot of kids with posts on the RSI thread that have not yet posted here. Come one, come all...

Hey, I also signed up for nanotech! But I put it under engineering for some dumb reason.

Oh, and I'm from NY. No chance of getting in.

Yeah, I have no chance of getting in too. I applied for the hell of it. However, i seem to be the only person who applied for the humanities secotr. What's up with that? I assume not many apply to that...hehe.

I'm from CA. No chance of getting in three. Didn't know there were science people who research humanities.

Do you mean to tell me you've never heard of the APA or Humanities Research? =O.

Sorry... I deal mostly in computer science and physics. Great to see there is so much variety in the world :)

Intelliot, what sort of search algorithms are you talking about? Do you mean as in search engines?

It's all cool, Intelliot. I'm just surprised. Surely you;ve must of heard of medicinal/psychological research and the billions of journals out there. Lest we forget, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Anthropology, "History" and Political Science are the Social Sciences. Plenty of research opporunities here.

schemer, yes, I mean search as in search engines as well as heuristic search (virus scanning, data patterns). I don't have a ton of experience in this subject.. I just find it interesting. Is it a valid research field?
