Are we trying to compare this tally with the actual numbers of people from each state that were admitted? I agree with botherme, what are we trying to accomplish with this unwieldy tally system?
How many people applied last year? On average?

@barisekim Do international applicants know already? Did you make it? Congratulations if you did!
@barisekim Your acceptance was decided by your own country’s system, not by the same people deciding US participants, so Turkey may be very quick, while other countries are slower. US has the biggest applicant load so it makes sense that it takes a while in the US.
@MichaelPemulis i did make it, thanks! i would expect most (if not all) of the international applicants to know soon.

@IvoryMagicLee I just finished the USABO exam. I was getting consistent 30+ on practice ones, but I just realized I got a question mixed up in my head that cost me 4 pts… Hopefully, I’ll still make semifinals.
