I am a high school junior this year, and I got accepted to Stanford’s Summer Program. They want a decision by February 22nd, which is well before the decisions for RSI come out. What are my odds of getting into RSI?

Thanks in Advance

I am a white male if that helps

Your chances for RSI are minuscule, as are everybody else’s. You need to be one of the few best students in STEM in your state to get in. I would commit to Stanford, and in the event you are accepted to RSI you should be able to cancel Stanford - you may lose some money but RSI is worth it.

Near zero chance. No research experience, no STEM awards that are well known.

Thanks Yucca. Out of curiosity would you take an internship at a national labs over Stanford?
