Rsi, mites

Are these applied for DURING junior year? Summer after junior year? Summer after sophomore year?

during junior year, like after winter holidays. Make sure you’ve taken your SATs/ACTs to be on top of it.

Yes work on your PSATs the most (RSI even has a special recommendation so I think its very important in their process)

Get 220+ on the PSAT, take the SAT/ACT/SAT II’s if needed. Work on those essays.

You don’t need 220+ on PSATS, I know people that have been accepted with lower ones.

Okay, so I will be a junior this year and am definately applying for MITES. My family makes around $55,000…but this is over $50,000. Would they still consider accepting me? Does this make a big difference?

I don’t believe so.

you dont believe what? that it doesn’t make a difference? or that they won’t consider me? :(

It’s not that big a deal. It probably isn’t even a deal.

Yes but RSI still recommends on their website of 220+ PSAT. Sure, you can get into RSI with lower scores, but I am sure there is a better chance if you get a higher PSAT score.

hey screw that RSI and MITES are overrated. you guys are forgetting about SSP. its legit too

^overrated? Actually, I don’t think RSI and MITES are overrated, considering many people don’t even know what the programs are. Besides, the programs consist of top tier facilities and professors (I did not get into RSI just like you, but I still think its an awesome program).

I’m guessing you are at SSP? I just googled it and it seems like an awesome program too. Well, good luck with your research.

Also, may I ask what “IE” stands for?

any guesses ;]

The only IE I can think of is Internet Explorer…but thats not a location lol.

My guess: Inland Empire.
