<p>I think SHARP is closed down, due to funding or something similarly beaurocratic. As for RSI, the deadline's passed for this year, so if your a unior your out of luck. I really don't know the specifics of either, but the aboves the info I've picked up on these boards about them.</p>

<p>Each summer approximately 75 high school students gather for six of the most stimulating weeks of their young lives. Selected from the United States and other nations, these students participate in a rigorous academic program which emphasizes advanced theory and research in mathematics, the sciences, and engineering.This is the Research Science Institute (RSI).</p>
<p>RSI is the most prestigious summer program for math/science-oriented juniors. (They have accepted a sophomore, but he was a genius....really) Go to the High School Forum and look for RSI threads. There are many rickoids on CC and I'm sure they would be willing to answer your questions.</p>
