Hi everyone (again)

I was wondering what type of people get accepted into Research Summer Institute (RSI)? I heard it was very competitive.

oh btw. I posted my stats here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=20882

Do you think I have a chance at RSI?

bump...anyone to help here?

RSI is often considered the nation's top summer program. I believe RSI participants with strong academic qualifications (those two probably go hand in hand) are shoo-ins at MIT. Any RSI student is also a very strong candidate at Harvard, provided other information in the file demonstrates good reasons for the RSI status. Of course ... getting into RSI is a great achievement in itself, so it's safe to say that unless you start failing Calculus or robbing banks, consider yourself admitted to a number of the very top schools.
