Is RSI the key to all Ivies and the schools like the Ivies??) And has MIT or Caltech ever rejected an RSI student?

I think their acceptance at Harvard is only 80%. MIt or Caltech should be around 100%, since both are very tech heavy.

Yes to both. There's been talk of one person rejected from MIT for a specific reason that hasn't been made public. On the other hand, I've only ever heard of one person rejected from Harvard.

What is RSI?

Research Science Institute

By the way
Does the applicant have to fulfill the admission requirements or will the RSI get him in automatically and if the persons SAT scores were low (600 on both sections) will it still get him in (assuming all other stuff are perfect)??

and how does someone become an RSI?

if ur a rising senior u cant be one
if not go to www.cee.org

how much do grades matter in rsi if psat and SAT IIs were almost perfect?

Everything matters.

They only accept 75 applicants. They're finding the most perfect people out there. They look at everything, though, so I guess there's some room for error.

A better link would be http://www.cee.org/rsi/index.shtml :).

I know they are big on the PSAT math score and overall score, but what if you take the SAT and dobetter?

Like if the PSAT was a 220 (80 M 70 V+W)

and the SAT was a 2300 (800 M 750 V+W)?
