RSVPing to previews program

So I procrastinate doing just about everything, and today, March 28 is the last day to RSVP for the previews. So I called the office, but no one was there and it said to leave a message. I did, but would that count as RSVPing within the correct time parameters? Or would that be too late? It would kind of suck to miss the previews just cause I was too lazy to make a phone call earlier.. hehe.

Thanks!

the site actually says
"Register for Previews online by Wednesday, April 9th"

you still have another week or two

! Fantastic. thanks so much... my letter in the mail said March 28th. I guess they extended the deadline?

Thanks again!

I would go online to register. Your letter should have a URL somewhere, but you'll have to know your ID#

the deadline is the 28th if you're having the school pay expenses because they have to make your travel arrangements. otherwise, your responsible for all travel expenses.

you should register online TODAY. it takes literally 2 minutes...if that.

oh great, now registration is full. this just sucks! should have listened to you, mitcheru

haha, this happen to anybody else?

This doesn't sound right to me, because there are some students who didn't even receive their offers of acceptance until yesterday. The notice my son got specifically said he had until the 9th to register. Then again, it sounds like you got an "early write" and were given an earlier deadline, so you've had more time to make arrangements. Have you called admissions to inquire, or did you just try online? I'd recommend calling, if you haven't.

Even some who received the early writes didn't get in. They were told that they were "waitlisted". Haven't heard what the contingency plan is. Seems as if they have more takers than available spots

The "early writes" from Williams that I'm referring to are actual acceptances that Williams sends a few weeks early to some exceptional candidtates. I have not heard of anyone who's received such an acceptance from Williams then having it rescinded and turned into a waitlist.

If you're talking about a waitlist for previews, those with "early writes" should not have had any problem registering. My son registered Thursday afternoon without any problem.

Where do you find your id? Is it supposed to be in the letter somewhere??? I don't know mine!

Do you think I should call?

The ID was on a purple postcard that was mailed to you after your application was received. I'm not sure if it was on any other correspondence, so if you can't find it, you should call or email admissions on Monday. The deadline stated in the previews brochure is the 7th.
