So, I've heard that AP credits aren't accepted for science majors that go to RU... is that true? Regardless, I'm attending, but AP registrations are still going on (though they'd be late) and I need to know whether or not its even worth it to go through the studying and fees to take a test that doesn't count.

Not sure where you heard that from. I’m attending the school of engineering this fall and I know for sure they accept AP credits. The whole university accepts AP credits for that matter.

Engineering AP credits list:

Also, there’s this thing called Google:
[Let me google that for you](<a href=“LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You”>LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You)

If I’m not mistaken… This website is meant for college questions, so I’m not at ask in the wrong for doing so.

There are limits on ap credits - each school is different. You should email the freshman advisor for the school you plan to attend and they will help you. I know pharmacy, business, and sas all had different rules last year.

Gotcha thanks!

It’s along the lines of a 4 or 5 on the ap exam and 6 credits max. It can be different for each, but that is roughly what it will be.

I’ve asked numerous Rutgers reps and they’ve assured me that they accept AP credit. I’ve asked the dean of Biological and Environ sciences and an engineering professor there, and they all say that they accept credit if you get a certain score. Usually the score is 3 and above. Some courses like physics accept 4 and above.
