In terms of everything, which is better to live in for my freshman year? Rubin or Brittany?

Rubin.

Word requirement.

Rubin…
Has a dining room. View is very good. 5th Ave. Washington Square on left, Empire state building on right.
Brittany has larger rooms, though. No dining room.

What do you mean “word requirement,” and what else distinguishes the two?

Brittany because I’m living there.

But for real, I visited the dorms a few times and Rubin is quite small compared to Brittany. Brittany’s also in a really great neighborhood - there’s antique shops all down 10th Street and then every store you could need down Broadway. Two separate people who lived in Brittany told me that the location is very central to all the classroom buildings and dining halls and everything. Also, it’s very social. The dorm staff puts on a lot of interesting programs. They actually have a website - [The Life and Times of Brittany Hall](http://nyubrittany.blogspot.com/)

nothing will post unless you have at least 10 characters.

do you have to apply to live in low cost dorms?

Rubin corner rooms are very nice.

Brittney sucks because there is no food. You’ll learn to hate it when you have to walk outside to get dinner everynight.

Brittney has no AC. DON’T DORM THERE in the spring

Lol my name is Brittany, sooooo Brittany = ]

Rubin doesn’t have A/C either…?

Rubin is way better. Brittany’s rooms are slightly bigger, but they are all so small on the whole that it doesn’t really matter. The dining hall is great. Some people don’t care for it, but most of us that aren’t dependent on fine dining ate there all the time.

rubin ftw!! :)
