<p>Has anyone called a university that you are applying to, just to check the status of your applicaton, and the admissions officers are rude and unprofessional? I can't begin to tell you how unorganized some of these top schools and Ivies are. They certainly don't run like a "well-oiled machine". Has anyone encountered this problem, or is it just me...?</p>
<p>i hear ya kiddo... some people just get saucy, but you're going to find that wherever you go, so just take it as it comes and never sink to their level :)</p>
<p>I've been fortunate not to encounter that problem; the admissions staff at Georgetown and Washington and Lee have been wonderful.</p>
<p>yea, but I guess we just have to understand that they're probably handling tons of paper work and under a lot of stress.</p>
